What is a Real Estate Agent?

Real estate agents are experts to facilitate the sale of real estate. Professional agents are real estate agents who are open to new things, including innovative marketing ideas and the latest changes that have an impact on buyers and sellers. A real estate agent must be someone who listens to buyers, sellers and renters to find out what the public hates about agents and proactively makes changes in their own business plans. Real estate agents must have working hours that apply to other professionals who are paid thousands of dollars per transaction.

Real estate agents must not be part time in business. They must practice their skills by using it every day. This means they cannot have full time jobs and sell real estate when they need extra money. A real estate agent must be skilled at maintaining their calm when there is a problem. A real estate agent must be professional and never close clients or other real estate agents, no matter what is said or done.

A real estate agent must be responsible for learning, understanding and following all the marketing tools that can and may have to be used in selling or buying a home. The fact that real estate agents are “uncomfortable with the Internet” when most homes are now sold by sight on the Internet by buyers is no longer the reason. A real estate agent must be diligent in understanding the modes of communication and marketing through every type of media from which buyers can search and ultimately buy a home.

Real estate agents should not have to start their fax machines when they return from the store. They must be in business, full time, and formed to do business anytime in their working hours. A real estate agent must not leave the city without reserves and only leave an agreement as a result. Nobody cares that real estate agents are on vacation other than their own agents. A real estate agent must not tell the seller that an open house does not work, when in fact, an open house sells property, every day. A real estate agent should never be in that box so they laugh at someone for discussing the use of the St. Joseph. They should not mock the fact that the aroma of apple pie may or may not sell the house just because they don’t want to bother explaining what might or might not work to the seller.

A real estate agent should not cry when the seller tells them that they no longer want to sell their house or that they will not use it to sell the house. A real estate agent cannot steal page signs from pages or directional signs from subdivisions just because someone did not choose to make a list of houses with them but competitors. Real estate agents must not violate other business models. They just have to show the things they bring to the table and why they feel their business model works better.

A real estate agent should not open a house for buyers and let them live there alone, just because the buyer looks good. Real estate agents must always look at buyer identification because they realize that they are responsible for the seller’s property. A real estate agent must always be grateful that someone is willing to pay them thousands of dollars for work that has never been fully explained to the public about how little knowledge an agent needs and how little you are trained when getting your license.
