Average customer review: 2. Karl from New York, New York. This is for the Madison Square, Garden show on February 28, Not sure if the soundman had hearing aids or not but the sound was absolutely horrible.
Their last album was released in 2006.
It is sometimes referred to as The Silver Album because of its metallic cover. Frank Stallone , Sylvester's brother, had been in a band with John Oates called Valentine and this connection got them a shot at an appearance on the soundtrack. The film, however, was slow to get off the ground, and Hall and Oates withdrew the song. The album's cover shows an androgynous-looking Hall and Oates, both appearing to wear makeup, against a silver background. It was designed by Pierre LaRoche, a makeup artist who was responsible for much of the androgynous look of glam rock artists at the time, including creating the appearance of the Ziggy Stardust persona for David Bowie. I will immortalize you!

Ahead of those shows, NME spoke to one half of the duo, John Oates, about their wild career and legendary status. Pretty much. It happens periodically throughout the show.
Hall explains that this method of beginning an album on his own and bringing Oates in later is far from from unusual. When it feels right, it feels right. Groups led by two people have been notoriously unstable in rock history. The list is endless, but everyone from the Everly Brothers to Simon and Garfunkel, the Kinks, Oasis, and the Black Crowes have struggled to stay together.
